A new National Institute for Aviation Research Hub for Advanced Manufacturing and Research (HAMR) broke ground in the spring of 2024 and is scheduled for completion in 2026. The grant-funded, 186,000-square-foot facility will be dedicated to capitalize on Wichita State's extensive expertise in advanced manufacturing and smart manufacturing, creating increased adoptions of these technologies in small business application.
